This vibrant area is bursting with beach clubs, trendy bars, and mouthwatering eateries that cater to all your sun-soaked desires.....oh and Happy Hours! We love Happy Hours! Whether you want to chill with a cocktail or dance the night away, we’ve got the scoop on the best spots to visit. So grab your sunscreen, and let’s dive right on in ....
We've put together a list of our favourite places to visit....those beachfront and those not located on the beach but still totally worth a visit! The list comprises of mostly the more major venues, but there are also so many amazing local small beach bars and small bars which we will feature in a later post.
BEACHFRONT HANGS
☀️ KU DE TA
A Bali classic since day one, Ku De Ta is the ultimate spot for sunbathing, sipping cocktails, and people-watching. Start your day with a hearty breakfast(such amazing valiue breakfast when you take into account the view), lounge by the pool, and as the sunsets, get ready for lively tunes and a vibrant crowd. It's a little pricier than your average bar, but well worth it because of the vibe(cool Dj's) and faultless view, so bring your wallet because it’s a bit on the pricier side. You’ll want to stay for dinner at Mejekawi for a culinary treat 0or save this for a special occasion dinner one night of your holiday.

🌊 MANO BEACH HOUSE
A fresh addition to Seminyak, Mano Beach House combines laid-back vibes with stunning beach views. With its Caribbean-inspired décor and refreshing pool, it’s the perfect spot to unwind and 100% the best sunset spot! Grab a tropical drink(we love their Pina Coladas), then kick back in a cabana, and let the ocean breeze sweep you away. Mano Beach House offers one of the best sunset spots on the island so make sure you either book a Cabana in advance should you want the best seat in the house. There's a great pool as well to take a dip, also making is a good place for kids. It's quieter than some of the other beach clubs which is refreshing for a slower paced afternoon. We love that it is very cool, understated and not pretentious. Absolutely a Saudara favourite!

🍟 POTATO HEAD
You can’t visit Bali without stopping by Potato Head! This iconic beach club is ideal for lounging on a daybed, enjoying delicious cocktails, and soaking in breathtaking sunset views. Get ready for a buzzing atmosphere and scrumptious food that will keep you coming back for more.
During peak hours (from 5-7pm) there is a cover charge to enter the Beach Club of 180k IDR ($18 AUD) including one drink of your choice.
During off-peak hours (before 5pm) the Beach Club is free to enter and there are plenty of seating options with no minimum spend. However, these areas can’t be booked in advance and tend to fill up quickly, so best to arrive early for the best chance of grabbing your spot.
I love that the venue is incredibly sustainable. They are committed to not only protecting the planet by following a zero-waste philosophy but also serve 100% locally sourced ingredients while they’re at it. Even the used oyster shells are kept, crushed and then used to make furniture for the hotel.

🌅 BEACH BAR AT ALILA
For a touch of luxury, head to the Beach Bar at Alila Seminyak. Enjoy a sundowner by the beachside pool. It’s the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring and is located on a beautiful un-interrupted part of Seminyak Beach. There's an incredible infinity pool with live music most nights. This bar is defiantly one of the more higher end bar experiences in the area. A visit also works well as a pre-drink or post drink location after easing in their Seafood Restaurant; SeaSalt

🎶 WOOBAR @WHOTEL

🌈 LA PLANCHA
One of the first beach bars to introduce bean bags on the sand, La Plancha is a lively spot for sunset drinks. Grab a seat, kick back, and enjoy the music as the sun dips below the horizon. It’s a fantastic place for a relaxed evening with friends!

🍹 MARI BEACH CLUB
If you’re seeking a more low-key vibe, Mari Beach Club is a hidden newish gem on Batu Belig Beach. With a gorgeous swimming pool and budget-friendly Mediterranean vibe menu, it’s perfect for families and groups looking to chill without the crowds. The design was carefully curated to represent Mount Agung with its prominent bamboo dome, iconic wooden swings replicate those found in the village of Tenganan, and a flowing pool symbolises Bali’s sacred Ayung river, which leads to the infinity pool, sun deck, sunken bar and cosy cabanas. Lots of great photo spots!

🍹 COCOON DAY CLUB
Cocoon Day Club in Seminyak is a vibrant beachside destination, located along the bustling Double Six Beach road. Renowned for its laid-back ambiance and has always had a pretty consistent happy hour, Cocoon combines a spacious pool area with a lively sports bar and an inviting outdoor dining deck. Whether you’re looking to relax with a cocktail by the pool, catch live sports events, or enjoy a family-friendly meal, Cocoon is a pretty versatile venue. Blend of relaxed vibes and versatile spaces, Cocoon Day Club stands out as a go-to spot and located right on Double Six Beach making it an easy place to get to, but also provides lots of close beach bars should you wish to visit before or after. Checkout their socials as they offer daily food specials as well. Ownership of the venue did change post Covid.

NOT SO BEACH BUT SUPER COOL ....
💦 MRS SIPPY
Not directly on the beach, but don’t let that fool you! Mrs Sippy boasts Bali's largest saltwater pool, making it the ultimate day club. What makes Mrs Sippy a hit compared to other Bali pool clubs and so unique is the five-meter jump tower above the main pool. Located in the deep pool’s section right beneath the tower supervised by attendants to ensure a safe jump. Regardless of whether you plan to 'jump' just the people watching component of this venue is enough to keep you entertained for hours! Grab a cocktail, plan for some snacks and just position yourself near the dive board to watch those with no fear take the plunge! For you who want a less daunting challenge, there’s also a one to three-meter jump you can try. Great snacks available all day and night long.

🌮 MOTEL MEXICOLA
For those who love a fiesta, Motel Mexicola is a must-visit! With its vibrant décor and lively atmosphere, indulge in delicious Latin food and dance the night away. And don’t forget to sample their extensive tequila menu! At stages during the night; the DJ will come around and free-pour tequila shots into your mouth.....so make sure you're ready! The venue is full of atmosphere and super fun, but can get quite hot as theres not a lot of airflow, but after a few margs and a dance you'll be none the wiser.
